Who we are

Cradle & Coos is a pregnancy, birth, and postpartum matching and concierge service operated by Muneeza Patel. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with growing provider coverage in Los Angeles and Miami. Doulas and other care providers on our network are independent professionals; we help families find and coordinate care.

Information we collect

We may receive or process:

• Contact and inquiry details you send by email or through linked forms (name, email, phone if you provide it, message content, family or provider preferences).
• Scheduling and intake information submitted through Google Calendar or Typeform.
• Provider application materials submitted through Airtable (credentials, experience, location, references).
• Purchase details for gift cards processed by Gift Up (and BabyList if you add a gift card to a registry).
• Usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location/device data if Google Analytics is enabled.
• Chat content if OpenWidget or Carrie (AI-assisted chat) is enabled—messages you type and technical metadata needed to deliver replies.

This static website does not host a first-party newsletter signup. We do not ask you to create a password on this site.

How we use information

• Respond to questions and schedule consultations
• Match families with providers and coordinate care
• Review provider applications and network membership
• Process gift card purchases and related support
• Improve the website and understand aggregate traffic
• Provide optional chat support, including AI-assisted replies where enabled
• Comply with law and protect the security of our services

Third-party services

When you use linked tools, those companies process data under their own policies. We currently use or may enable:

• Google Calendar for scheduling
• Typeform for family intake
• Airtable for provider applications
• Gift Up for gift card purchases
• BabyList if you add a gift card to a registry
• Spotify for podcast embeds on selected posts
• Google Analytics (measurement ID G-9F0D2P30BE) unless disabled at deploy time
• OpenWidget chat, only if enabled by the site owner
• AI chat vendors powering Carrie, when that feature is offered to your engagement

Cookies and analytics

If Google Analytics is enabled, it may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure page views and site performance. You can ask us to disable analytics by contacting info@cradleandcoos.com, or we can deploy with PUBLIC_GA_MEASUREMENT_ID=off.

AI-assisted chat (Carrie)

Carrie is an assistive chat tool for common questions. It is not a medical provider and is not for emergencies. Do not share sensitive health details you would not want processed by a chat vendor. Message content may be transmitted to third-party AI or chat infrastructure to generate responses and maintain the service.

Sharing

We share information with providers you choose to work with, with vendors who process data on our behalf (hosting, forms, payments, analytics, chat), and when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We keep inquiry and matching records as long as needed to serve your request, maintain the provider network, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You may ask us to update or delete information we control by emailing info@cradleandcoos.com; some records may need to be retained for operational or legal reasons, and data held only by third parties must be requested from those providers.

Children

This website is intended for adults seeking pregnancy and postpartum support. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site.

Your choices

• Email us to access, correct, or request deletion of information we hold
• Decline optional chat widgets or AI tools if offered
• Use browser controls to block analytics cookies where applicable

Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights regarding personal information. Contact us to make a request; we will respond as required by applicable law.

Security

We use reputable hosting and vendors and limit access to business need. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use judgment when sharing sensitive information by email or chat.

Terms of use

Doulas and other listed providers are independent professionals responsible for their own services, licenses, and insurance. Package ranges on this site are typical ranges, not quotes or guarantees. Booking, matching, and payment occur through processes we share after you contact us. We may update pages, pricing ranges, and provider availability without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cradle & Coos is not liable for decisions you make based solely on website content, or for the acts or omissions of independent providers. Nothing on this site creates a professional care relationship until you engage us or a provider through an agreed process.
